My name is Tetsuya Somemura. I live in Japan. I was born in 1960.

I started to play the acoustic guitar when I was fourteen. My guitar teacher told me bluegrass music when I was a highschool boy.
The first bluegrass record I bought was "Will The Circle Be Unbroken". I surprised at "Black Mountain Rag" Doc Watson played.
In colledge, I belonged to a bluegrass club named "Blue Mountain Boys". In the band I played the guitar and sang.

I love martin guitars especially D-28. In this webpage I wrote about Martin D-28.

I play bluegrass now. I take part in Japanese bluegrass festival twice or three times a year.
My favorite bluegrass guitarist is Tony Rice. He plays the guitar. His guitar sound is
